Traineeship programs

Global Community Development Program

• Intern will gain cross-cultural understanding, develop oneself and contribute to positive social change in the community.
• There are many places especially for people who are studying social or educational sciences. Also students who have otherwise gained competence in the field or are interested in these fields can apply.
• A huge number of internships available in India and China!
• The internships are often in AIESEC-run projects, in NGO's or in educational institutions.  The internship can be related e.g. to running HIV/AIDS prevention campaigns, promoting sustainable development, human rights or women's empowerment, doing fundraising or enhancing intercultural awareness and communication.
• The typical duration of internships is 6 to 12 weeks but there are some longer ones as well.

Global Internship Program

This programme contains three kinds of internships.

• For people who are studying to become a teacher (pedagogical studies).
• Often teaching English.
• Some positions for teaching French or different subjects (usually IT).
• The internships can be in elementary schools, universities or companies.
• Most of the internships are longer than 3 months.

Management traineeships

• For people who are studying economics: marketing, accounting, leadership or financing.
• Previous relevant work experience is essential.
• Knowledge of German or French is beneficial.
• There might be some internships of 3 months or so but most of them take 5 months or more.

Technical traineeships

• Majority of these interships are for IT-students (database management, software development, programming etc.)
• Some engineering internships available.
• Previous relevant work experience is beneficial.
• There might be some internships of 3 months or so but most of them take 5 months or more.
