Seminars

AIESEC seminars are the events where the entire AIESEC and all the local committees gather to meet, catch up, learn, and above all to have fun! When a new member is wondering whether to join AIESEC and what is this all about in the first place, the first seminar usually gives a certain answer. The atmosphere is indescribable. The culture is something entirely different including all those AIESEC dances (even if you don’t actually dance) and other amusing features.

Every year more than 350 national and international seminars are organized, along with several local seminars and events. In Finland 4-5 weekend seminars are organized, one of them together with other Nordic Countries.

Local seminars

Orientation Day

An event where you can see and experience everything that is AIESEC and what we can offer our members. This event lasts for a day or an evening, and is an excellent opportunity to get all the basic knowledge about AIESEC easily and learn how to get inside.

Introduction Seminar / Local AIESEC Seminar

The duration of this local AIESEC seminar is 2-3 days, and it’s content has been taken a bit further. This includes setting of personal goals and how AIESEC can help you achieve those goals. Furthermore, basic team training takes place.

National seminars

Preparation seminars

These seminars provide knowledge to those heading for international work abroad. This includes knowledge and exercises on cultures, goal setting and –monitoring, and preparation for before and during work abroad. These seminars are organized in spring and autumn.

National seminars

National seminars bring together our members from around Finland and from abroad. They extend over the weekend 4-5 times a year. They consist of different educational events that range from setting and following personal goals to practical teamwork and your responsibilities, developing strategies, planning and much more.

In autumn, ACCESS is organized, especially for new members as their first seminar. In spring, it is time for SUCCESS. Other most popular seminars include INPUT for the newly chosen board members, as well as for others interested of course.

International seminars

5-12 day Seminars that are arranged over Europe and around the world and are meant for all local managers and members interested in management offering more management training and its development. There are also seminars for creating international strategies and networks as well as seminars that are focused on co-operation and also various educational seminars on interesting topics.
