Engagement with AIESEC
Engagement with AIESEC can mean two things. One is that you come to events organized by us and have a connection with us that can be also loose in its nature. The other one is that you want to be more involved with the organization and after getting to know us better you apply for membership.
The introduction period for new members
Every Spring and Autumn AIESEC Jyväskylä organises info evenings at the university for new members. This introduction period includes the the following events. New members are encouraged to take part in all of these to receive the maximal benefit and information.
- Introduction Evening: Come get the basic information about our organization, what we have to offer to you! Here you can also apply for official membership.
- Introducing Functional Teams: Then you have the possibility to find out about the functions of the different teams and think about what kind of AIESEC career you would like to create.
- Local AIESEC Seminar: Our local seminar, a cottage weekend, where we officially choose our new members! The new members are also accepted to their teams of choice.
- National AIESEC Seminar ACCESS: The first national seminar for our new members. A horizon-broadening experience, where you see what AIESEC Finland is really like!
