History of AIESEC Jyväskylä

AIESEC started its activities in Jyväskylä in 1969. At that time we were a part of the university subject organisation, Pörssi. The name was AIESEC-Pörssi. In 1994 AIESEC Jyväskylä became an organisation of its own.

In 2009, AIESEC Jyväskylä is celebrating its 40th birthday. The anniversary started with a big Alumni-meeting during the National Conference in Jyväskylä in January 2009.

Within the frames of the 40th anniversary, AIESEC Jyväskylä is also writing a book about the history of the organisation and the people involved in it. It will be published in the end of 2009. If you are interested in participating in the project, find out more about it on our project pages.
